Find out which of your ads actually turn into paying jobs.
You pay Google, Yelp, Thumbtack or Facebook for leads, and every one of them says it's working. I check what each one claims against the jobs you actually booked, by hand, in a week.
What you get
One page, walked through with you on a 20-minute call.
How it works
- A 20-minute callYou show me your ad accounts, lead services and the last three months of jobs. Read-only. No passwords.
- I do the diggingI match every job you booked to where it came from, using your call log, your job list and the lead services' own records.
- You get the page within a weekPlus the walkthrough. Anything I couldn't trace is shown as unknown, never guessed.
Don't track any of this today? Then we set it up together, a phone number per source and a source on every job, and you get the same page after 30 days. Same price.
I ran it on my own business first
Here's what the review found on my own ad spend in 2026. The platforms' numbers are what each one reported about itself. The records are what actually happened.
| Source | Spent | Platform said | Records showed | Paying customers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Facebook, April | $1,465 | 227 | 160 signups | 1 |
| Reddit, April | $576 | 38 | 24 signups | 0 |
| Facebook, July | $1,171 | 14 | 25 signups | 0 |
| OpenAI ads, September | $200 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
$3,411 brought in one paying customer. The same platform cost five times more per signup in July than in April, and the real loss was after people signed up, not in the ads. For your business the columns are the same, with booked jobs and revenue instead of signups.
What I'll ask you for
- Read-only access to your ad accounts, or the reports downloaded together on a call
- The lead lists from Yelp, Thumbtack, Angi or Google Local Services, if you use them
- Your call log, including missed calls
- Your jobs or invoices for the last three months: date, customer, amount
Never a password. I delete the exports when we're done.
Who's doing this
I'm Danny. I live in San Francisco. I ran my own Facebook and Reddit campaigns and tracked them down to the dollar, and found out most of what the platforms told me didn't hold up. Now I do the same for local businesses.
I don't run ads and I don't earn more if you spend more. The review is done by hand, and it says so.
Questions
- Google already shows me my results.
- It does, and so does Yelp, and they often count the same customer. I line up what each one claims against the jobs you actually booked.
- What if someone saw my Facebook ad and then googled me?
- Nobody can follow one person like that, not even Facebook. The way to know is to pause one source for a few weeks and see whether the phone stops ringing. That's the 30-day test.
- Is this software?
- No. I do it by hand, on purpose.
- Why $300?
- It's about a week of work. If it doesn't tell you something you'd act on, you get the $300 back.
